Improving indoor air quality for a childcare facility in Co. Meath
‘Mia Air have given us reassurance and peace of mind’
With over 50 children and 9 staff, Millview Childcare, in Ratoath on the Fairyhouse Road, Co Meath, is a ECCE provider to children from 12 months to 10 years old.
“With the reopening of our childcare facility, we had staff (with children) and the children of Millview returning. We know indoor air quality is now as important as the clean water we drink and we wanted to ensure that the poorly ventilated areas in our building had purified air using HEPA 14 filters.”
“We sent an email out to a number of providers. Mia Air came back within minutes. What impressed us most was the on-site assessment the next day. Leah Byrne was extremely informative and offered advice around high risk areas. We installed Mia Air into these areas in our facility. Mia Air have given us reassurance and peace of mind for staff and the parents of the children of Millview that we are doing everything we can to mitigate airborne transmission.”
As an employer and childcare provider, we have a duty of care, to ensure the health and well-being of the children and our staff. Clean air is as important as clean water.
