The Health and Safety Authority, with the consent of Mr. Neale Richmond, Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail introduced the Code of Practice for Indoor Air Quality on 06 June 2023.
This code now forms part of the Health and Safety Legislation in Ireland, in accordance with Section 60 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005).
This Code of Practice is relevant to ALL places of work.

The Act places a duty on employers to carry out a written risk assessment of their premises and make this available to employees.
